1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) establishes the standards of conduct applicable to all persons who access or use the Website at https://orvexium.com or any systems, networks, or infrastructure operated by Orvexium (“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”). It forms part of and should be read in conjunction with our Terms and Conditions (OVX-TC-001).
Given the nature of Orvexium’s activities in the field of advanced information security and cryptographic system design, we apply a heightened standard of conduct to all interactions with our systems and Website.
2. Permitted Use
The Website may be used solely for the following purposes:
- obtaining information about Orvexium’s Services;
- submitting legitimate enquiries through authorised contact channels;
- accessing published research, white papers, and technical content for lawful informational purposes;
- communicating with Orvexium in connection with an existing or prospective client engagement.
3. Prohibited Conduct
3.1 Illegal and Harmful Activity
- using the Website for any purpose that is unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful under English law or any other applicable jurisdiction;
- engaging in or facilitating criminal activity, including fraud, money laundering, terrorism financing, or offences under the Computer Misuse Act 1990;
- transmitting, distributing, or storing any material that is defamatory, obscene, indecent, or in breach of third-party rights.
3.2 Unauthorised Access and System Interference
- accessing or attempting to access any part of the Website, server, or associated system for which you have not been granted explicit authorisation;
- probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of the Website or any connected system without prior written authorisation from Orvexium;
- introducing, uploading, or transmitting any malware, ransomware, spyware, virus, worm, trojan, or other malicious code;
- conducting or facilitating denial-of-service or distributed denial-of-service attacks against the Website or any associated infrastructure;
- attempting to intercept, monitor, or capture data transmitted to or from the Website without authorisation.
3.3 Data and Privacy Violations
- harvesting, collecting, or scraping personal data from the Website without authorisation;
- using automated tools, bots, or scripts to access, index, or extract content from the Website without our prior written consent;
- circumventing or attempting to circumvent any access controls, authentication mechanisms, or technical protection measures.
3.4 Misrepresentation and Abuse
- impersonating Orvexium, any Orvexium employee, or any other person or entity;
- submitting false, misleading, or deceptive information through any Website form or communication channel;
- using the Website to transmit unsolicited commercial communications (spam).
4. Security Restrictions
Any attempt to probe, test, or exploit the Website’s security — including through social engineering, phishing, or technical attack vectors — without express prior written authorisation constitutes a material breach of this AUP and may constitute a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. Authorised security research may be conducted only pursuant to our Responsible Disclosure Programme, set out in our Security Policy (OVX-SP-001).
5. Monitoring
Orvexium reserves the right to monitor use of the Website and associated systems for the purposes of security, fraud prevention, and ensuring compliance with this AUP. All monitoring is conducted in accordance with our Privacy Policy (OVX-PP-001) and applicable data protection law.
6. Consequences of Breach
Breach of this AUP may result in any or all of the following:
- immediate suspension or termination of your access to the Website;
- civil proceedings for damages, injunctive relief, or both;
- referral to law enforcement authorities;
- disclosure of relevant information to third parties as required by law or as necessary to prevent harm.

8. Relationship to Other Policies
This AUP is supplemental to and shall be read alongside our Terms and Conditions (OVX-TC-001), Privacy Policy (OVX-PP-001), and Security Policy (OVX-SP-001). In the event of any conflict between this AUP and the Terms and Conditions, the Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
9. Governing Law
This AUP is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising under or in connection with this AUP shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
